Today is…

the shortest day of the year! It’ll be dark longer this day than any other days of the year!
Sunrise begins at 7:39 AM and sunset begins at 4:38 PM. Since it will be dark so much earlier, why not try and get your sleep in?
Curious about the winter solstice? Check out wikipedia.
Plus, you can always come and visit us. We have a ton of great books on space, stargazing and the moon. Go into the 520s in our non-fiction section or come up to the reference desk and just ask!
