Monday, June 28 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM
Home Alone Safety
Space is limited to 25 people.
This program is for teens ages 7 – 14. An $18 fee for Chili residents or $23 nonresidents is payable to the Town of Chili is due when registering through the town. This course is designed to teach children who are home alone the importance of behaving responsibly.
Topics include but are not limited to:
first aid, what to do when a stranger comes to the door, telephone tips, and Internet safety, as well as how to react during a variety of misc. emergencies such as a power outages. Also covered will be who and when to call in an emergency.
Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision, but preparation can make the transition much easier for you and your child.
Monday, June 28 from 11:30 AM – 4 PM
This program is for teens ages 11 – 16. A $40 fee for Chili residents or $45 for nonresidents is payable to the Town of Chili is due when registering through the town. The fee includes a Certificate of Completion. This course teaches roles and responsibilities of the babysitter, including skills in accident prevention and emergency recognition. Students are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch.
Tuesday, June 29 from 3-4pm
Talk about any books you’re reading, plans for the summer or whatever is going on in your life.
June 30 from 2-4 pm
Candy wrapper & potato chip bag bracelets & Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (with Johnny Depp)
Make some delicious jewelry and watch a PG movie full of yummy goodness. Registration begins June 1 for teens 13-18 yrs.
From 2 – 4:30 pm
Join us for fun with the whole family! At 2pm we will enjoy a family movie and then afterward stay for some games the whole family can enjoy. This week’s movie is Up!
No registration is required and snacks will be provided.
