Iron Chef No-Cook Cook Off

The Iron Chef No-Cook Cook Off went really really well. As much as I absolutely adore chocolate, it was my favorite program this break. We had 12 people who we divided up into three teams. Each team was given a pound cake and a certain amount of different other ingredients that they could use to make a delicious and beautiful concoction. While everyone had a similar take on their cakes, each group did it in their own unique way. We had a panel of four judges (including the library director) and they had a really difficult time deciding which cake they liked best.

After the competition we had the unfortunate responsibility of eating all the delicious cakes so that they didn’t go bad. 🙂

I’d like to give props to the teen who stayed late and helped clean up all the dishes. YAY to you! You’re awesome!
