Death By Chocolate

Today we had our Death By Chocolate program. It went REALLY well. The chocolate was divine. We had chocolate fondue with marshmallows, pretzels and bananas. We played a chocolate relay game where people wore socks on their hands and had to race back and forth and unwrap kisses. We had a chocolate bar tasting contest which was delicious and for the finale we had a poetry contest in which people wrote about their devotions to chocolate. The poems were really varied and some were absolutely hysterical! I wish that I had saved some of them. If you read this and had written a poem, please please please consider sending me an email at ckyle@libraryweb.org so that I can post your poem, anonymously if you’d like.

Tomorrow, our program will be the Iron Chef No-Cook Cook Off, which I have great hopes for, since there’s a lot of food involved!
